Anyway, since the last post (because of the osgi references in the file ide.conf) I see that you are using a version 4.0.x of SQL Developer. You must update the file product.conf with the smallest Xmx value in order to create an instance of the JVM. If you have not yet found the product.conf file on your system, this might help: http://www.thatjeffsmith.com/archive/2013/12/oracle-sql-developer-4-windows-and-the-jdk/

Otherwise, ask someone in your organization COMPUTER help — keep in mind that AppData is one of those hidden Windows directories, so you’ll have to tell explore to make it visible by the organize > Folder Options > view > hidden files and folders parameters. In addition, you should use Java 7, not Java 6 — try to get that upgrade to the latest version of jdk1.7.0_xx (currently 60, I think). Since you never said if your JDK is 32-bit or 64-bit, I can not say to use an AddVMOption, Add32VMOption or Add64VMOption.

I installed 11.1.2.3.0 Jdeveloper.
And tried to run the Jdeveloper but got error below:

«Failed to create an instance on the Virtual Machine Java located at c:\oracle\Middleware\jdk160_24\jre\bin\client\jvm.dll road.

Osdm exe no java

Коллеги, OSDM не хочет запускаться на Java 7, а везде, где можно из-за security issues жаба с 6 отапгрейдилась до 7.
Можно это как-то победить? А как?

Можно. Откатиться на 6-ку. Выдержка из релиза к DM 4.65 (это же имеет отношение и ко всему семейству DM 4.6x 4.7x):
«4) Java compatibility
DM(V4.65) is required for its normal operation to install Java6 only.
If you already installed Java7 or JDK on your Windows PC, it should be uninstalled first before
Java6 installation.» (с)

Блин. Вот это и фигово — ессно уже появились приложения, не использующие Java6 «by security reason», да и всякие секюрити-бдтели верещат.
Про снос 7ки, как отдельную страничку геморроя, я просто и не говорю.

На линуксе решил установкой ibm java6, но там тоже приплясы. (Вздыхая)

Как подключиться к АТС или «Java — Написано однажды, работает везде?»

Есть древняя АТС от Samsung (нужно помочь завести номер т.к. админ уволился и не оставил гайдов), от меня находится далеко и есть доступ до ПК в одной подсети с этой АТС, при попытке зайти по http, говорит: СКАЧАЙТЕ JAVA (хотя java стоит) и ни в одном из трех бровсеров: firefox, chrome, ie11 работать не хочет, но с таким уже сталкивался: иду в отладчик, вытаскиваю ссылку на jnlp файл, качаю его, пробую запустить через javaws и получаю ошибки:

Единственное что понял он хочет java1.6+ и выше, качаю 6 версию, запускаю через нее и получаю аналогичные. Подскажите куда копать дальше?
