Nike Air Python (Triple Red)
UPDATE: The ‘Gym Red’ Pythons will be out at NDC and select Nike accounts from the 24th of April if you’re still hunting for them.
That’s what the kids these days do now, right? Every sneaker that’s a solid colour is automatically ‘triple ____’ yeah? Well in this instance, ‘Red’ just doesn’t quite cut it when describing these all-red Air Pythons, so we’ve dubbed them Triple Red. Groan all you want, this is our website and we can call sneakers whatever the hell we want. Luisaviaroma has them if you want ’em.

Legacy
Founded back in 2002, Sneaker Freaker is the first and only international footwear magazine. From its roots as a DIY-style fanzine to today’s global coverage, its pages have documented every colab, custom, limited edition, retro reissue, Quickstrike, Hyperstrike and Tier Zero sneaker released over the last decade and a half.
Nike Air Python ‘All-Red’ – Restocked
These may not be the Red Octobers but the similarly all-red Nike Air Python is available now for purchase at Nike Store.
The Air Python previously released in 1987, one year after the very similar Air Jordan 2. While the Jordan 2 only used a snakeskin leather on the midfoot panel, the appropriately named Air Python used the leather on every panel of the upper. The silhouette did not retro until 2013 and the sneaker has released in numerous colorway since.
Priced at $150, you can click HERE to purchase the Nike Air Python ‘All-Red’.
Update: The shoe has restocked at Nike Store.

These actually aren’t bad, I’m just so sick of all-red shoes that I couldn’t bring myself to buy these.
Nike Air Python ‘Red Snake’ Available Early
A lot of people were loving the Nike Air Python ‘Red Snake’, or if you want to call them Red Octobers. As of today, a handful of pairs were spotted on eBay, but they are selling them for way above retail. The official release for the Red Snake Nike Air Python isn’t until Spring 2015, but the SNKRS pop-up shop in NYC during All Star weekend released a limit amount. Although the limited run happened a couple of weeks ago, not until recently have the pairs hit auction. All red uppers combined with a few variations of snake print will have the Air Python sold out fast once officially released. You can head over to eBay now and grab a pair of the Nike Air Python Red Snake now.
Founder and Editor of SF, Brian is considered an expert when it comes to sneakers. Collecting since he was in elementary school, his collection has grown to over 500 pairs and counting. Brian has published articles since 2004, and in 2006, he decided to create Sneaker Files.

While a pearlescent take on the ’80s high-top is due out later this season,
Nike Sportswear has preceded the upcoming drop with an all-red version of the Air Jordan 2-esque Air Python. Decked out in faux snakeskin, the premium kicks adopt a monochromatic look that sees red stretching from the lining and laces all the way across the entirety of the upper and down to the sole unit. Though currently sold out at Berkeley’s Bows & Arrows, the all-red premium edition of the Air Python should be available soon at additional Nike Sportswear stockists.
