Browser extension to download files and streaming videos with XDM This extension can be used to download files and streaming videos with XDM from Chrome/Chromium based browsers. It is not hosted in Chrome Web Store and needs to be installed manually.

Please follow the steps mentioned in Browser Monitoring page in XDM application.

Xtreme Download Manager (XDM) is a powerful tool to increase download speeds up to 500%, save videos from popular video streaming websites, resume broken/dead downloads, schedule and convert downloads.
XDM seamlessly integrates with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox Quantum, Opera, Vivaldi and other Chroumium and Firefox based browsers, to take over downloads and saving streaming videos from web. This is a standard maven project. If you have configured Java and Maven use: mvn clean install to build the project. The jar will be created in target directory.

Regarding the extensions of the xdm #980

I am trying to add the extension using the browser monitoring link on chrome. But it always gives me 404 error. Please help.

Same here. Chromium, Chrome, and Opera links are bad. Also tried searching «xtreme-download-manager» (title in the Chrome Extension link) in the Chrome store but no results for this app.

I guess the exstension are avaliable too on the XDM folder

The extension had disappeared for me too.
I tried downloading it again and I faced the same issues as everybody else.

Thankfully, I found it still installed, in chrome://extensions/, but it was disabled.
I enabled it and it works once again now.

How to Install Browser extension for Google Chrome / MS Edge / Brave / Vivaldi

• Click on the respective button to install the extension. This is VERY IMPORTANT! This will register the Messaging Host for respective browser.

• Open Google Chrome / MS Edge / Brave / Vivaldi

• Navigate Chrome extension page by typing chrome://extensions/ in browser’s address bar

Chrome Menu -> More tools -> Extensions

• Chrome will show a folder selection dialog. Browse to XDM’s installation folder. If you are on Windows, XDM is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\XDM for 64 bit Windows and in C:\Program Files\XDM for 32 bit Windows. Select the chrome-extension folder which should be inside the XDM installation directory.

On Linux it should be under /opt/xdman . Select the chrome-extension folder which should be inside the XDM installation directory.

• The extension should be installed now
• Please Pin the extension to the browser toolbar:
